Lindsay Stripling is a San Francisco based artist, born in Berkeley. She attended college at UC Santa Cruz where she studied black and white photography and hiked through the woods to her classes. She also studied painting at SFAI. Lindsay lives in the sunset district near the beach and Golden Gate Park where she can hear coyotes howling in the middle of the night.  Lindsay uses color and form to create dreamlike narratives that echo folk and fairy tales that we vaguely remember from childhood. Mystical characters exist in familiar landscapes, playing out scenes where the moral might be lost, switched, blurred or even just completely missing.

Lindsay's work has been featured in Illustoria Magazine on the cover of their Spring 2017 issue and in a continuing article she does with Alexis of Case for Making called "A Brief History of", She has also worked with Green Apple Books, St. Regis Hotel, Intercom, Spirituality and Health Magazine and Big, Big Wednesday Literary Journal.
